Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 64

I know that what Leia did was beyond despicable, but since she's been gone from school, it's actually become bearable. It was down right ordinary for me now.

No one else dared to bully me because the twins never left my side now. Not since those rogues attacked me. They were more worried than ever.

And I was still preparing for that inevitable day when I do shift. I don't want to be unprepared and I don't want to wait until then before I start training. When I do shift, I want to know how to fight.

I'll have to learn how to fight as a wolf after I shift, but everything else I can learn now. And I was still persisting with it. Having the guys teach me as much as they could.

Wendy got fed up with trying to think of new things to teach me since I already had it all down pat, so she started interning at her dad's doctors office. That was so she would be a professional pack doctor when the time came. She needed the experience and the lessons.

I noticed that Sara was hanging around a lot more as well. She'd already finished all of her courses early so the teachers didn't care if she sat in on my classes. But I'm sure the donation that Dean gave to the school is also making sure they don't mind. But at the moment, things were going along pretty well.

The twins and I were getting along great and I was actually feeling happy, for the first time in my life. I didn't know it was even possible. I didn't think I would ever be this happy. At least not here. But it has actually happened.

I was eating lunch with the twins in the cafeteria when Sara came rushing over to our table.

"Hey. Did you hear about the class trip?" Sara asked.

"Yeah. I heard about it. It's nothing special. It's camping in the woods." I said.

"Which woods?" Tristan asked.

"The magical woods." I said. And he nodded his head.

"That's a good place to go camping." He said.

"I really want to go." Sara said. Looking at me with pleading eyes. And I was confused as to why she was looking at me like that.

"Oh. You want me to go as well?" I asked.

"Yeah. It'll be fun." Sara said. And I looked at the twins.

"Dad has us on Alpha duties." Nathan said.

"And I'm not so sure it's a good idea for you guys to go either. I mean, what if there are rogues out there wanting revenge for the three that we killed?" Tristan asked.

"Dad and Alpha Robert have been making sure that there are no rogues hanging around. It'll be fine. And we're not going to be that far away. There's still cell phone reception out there." Sara said.

"It's spotty cell phone reception." I said. But she looked at me with really pleading eyes. I could tell that this meant a lot to her. She wanted to do something to feel like a normal teenager for a change instead of learning to be an Alpha. Or training to be an Alpha.

"Alright. We can go." I said.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you." She said, hugging me. And then she jumped up and ran out of the cafeteria.

"Why did I think it was a good idea to have a sister again?" I asked. And the twins started laughing.

"Just admit it. You love her." Nathan said.

"I don't want to admit it. But yeah, I guess so." I said. And he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him so I was leaning against his side.

"You know that Sara and you will be the only werewolves on that camping trip." Tristan said.

"Sara will be the only werewolf. I'm just a freak who hears voices. Remember." I smirked at him. But he just smiled and shook his head at me while Nathan laughed.

"She has a point." Nathan said.

By that Friday, Sara had almost become unbearable to be around but we were finally on our way to the woods for this camping trip.

So many of the other kids had tents and everything that they were going to set up. But I wasn't interested in that. I had a few changes of clothes, good hiking boots, thich socks and a sleeping bag. I planned to sleep outside staring at the stars. And Sara was going to do the same thing. She wasn't going to bother with a tent. We got to our camping spot before dark and while everyone else was starting to set up their tents and all their equipment with the teacher, Sara and I started looking around.

I knew exactly where I was. I had the advantage of being in these woods plenty of times with the guys and I really liked it here. It was beautiful and I could practically feel the power coming from the forest.

"What is that?" Sara asked.

"What?" I asked.

"My wolf is completely relaxed. She's never like this." Sara said, confused.

"It's the forest. That's what it does." I said.

"That's why you call it the magical forest." She said. And I nodded my head.

"I just want to shift and let my wolf roll around." Sara said. But I stood in front of her and stopped her from walking.

"Sara. We are the only ones here who know about werewolves. They're all human. You can't shift." I said.

"I know. I won't do it. I'll have to come back." She said, disappointedly.

"I'll bring you back another time." I said. And she perked back up again.

We started running around and playing a few games and messing around in the

forest until we heard them singing out to us to come back to camp.

I kept my phone in my pocket and it started vibrating as I was walking back to camp.

TRISTAN - All good so far?

ME - All good. Just messing around in the forest. Sara loved it.

TRISTAN Good. Call me the second you think anything might be wrong.

ME - I will. Stop stressing. I'm sure I'll be fine.

I put the phone back in my pocket and when we got to camp we had to start preparing dinner so we got to work and then we cooked it over an open fire and we all sat around eating.

There were only about 10 of us that decided to come out camping. I guess everyone else thought it would be too cold.

I even thought it was too cold. But Sara really wanted to give it a go. And I

couldn't say no. She was too excited.

After dinner, we cleaned the dishes in the nearby river, and then everyone wanted to tell horror stories by the fire.

Of course they did. What teenagers didn't when they went camping.

Me. That's who.

But Sara once again gave me those puppy dog eyes and started pleading with me, so I finally agreed and I sat on a log that was around the fire and people started telling their stories.

I suddenly got this weird sense that someone was watching us. Someone was hiding in the woods.

I turned around to see if I could see anyone, but it was too dark. Even with the illumination of the moon, I still couldn't see anyone.

I started to think that maybe these ghost stories were just starting to get to me.noveldrama
