I looked at my beautiful mate sleeping, right here in my arms. And I now know what Dad means when he says Mom is everything to him. Of course, I know we kids are, too, but I finally understand his words.

I will do anything to ensure she is happy and safe. I would go through fire, literally fire, if it meant she was safe.

'Thank you.' Lucian says in my mind. And he doesn't need to say more. I know why he says thank you.

I can feel him and Lily connecting in our minds. And I feel the link between them, as strong as the one I now feel between Madeleine and myself. So I don't answer. I know I don't have to.

A mark has formed on her neck, and it looks like me and her in our lycan and wolf form and a full moon. Lucian is holding her while the moon above shines on them, and flowers and leaves flow around them. It's a beautiful mark, but others are either black or red, between Alpha and their mate. Or Dad and Mom's, which are both black and red. This has all the right colors of fur and green leaves, as well as yellow and white flowers. It is magical to look at, but I have never seen or heard of a mark like this.

After a few hours, Madeleine begins to move in my arms, and I look at her as her beautiful green eyes open.

"Good morning, beautiful," I say and smile when she blushes.

"Did you not sleep?" She asks, and I kiss her.

"No, I just relaxed and looked at you," I tell her, and she blushes more.

I see her eye go to my neck, and then I am surprised when she sees the mark.noveldrama

She lifts a hand and softly touches the mark, and her eyes soften.

"I have never seen or heard of a mark like this." She whispers.

"Neither have I." I say softly and smile.

"It is so beautiful and special." She says, and I agree.

"What now?" She asks.

"Now, I hope you want to move in here with me," I say, knowing I won't force her, but she just smiles at me.

"Of course I want to." She says, and I smile at her and relax.

“Good. And I have to introduce you to the pack formally in a few days. But we have a little time before it becomes a pressing matter." I say, and she nods her head. Then her stomach rumbles, and I chuckle.

"A more pressing matter just occurred. We need to get you some food. And it is almost dinner time. I know Mom has invited your family to dinner tonight, so what if we go to your place so you can change, and we go join them." I say, and she smiles.

"That sounds perfect." She says, and we leave the bed.

As we had already had a bath, I quickly dressed in some jeans and a shirt, making sure my new mark was visible. When she had dressed in the clothes she had come in, we went to

the house where her family was staying for now. And I wait while she runs upstairs to change, and she looks beautiful when she comes back. She also chose to wear jeans and an off-shoulder top, which showed off her mark.

Hand in hand, we walk into my childhood home, and we can hear them all in the living room. We walk in, and Mom comes and hugs us see the surprise on her face, but she doesn't say anything. Everyone sees it, and they seem just as stunned and surprised by how it looks, except Dad.

"It is beautiful, so special. I have never seen anything like it." Jeanne says.

"Me either. But it is beautiful." Mom says. But I am looking at Dad, waiting for him to speak.

"The True King is something we rarely see in our world in our world. Where none of the two previous ones accepted their mates, no one ever knew how their mark would look. In this case, it isn't just Noah but also Madeleine and her special powers. So it makes sense that this mark is extraordinary." Dad says. The room goes quiet, and Madeleine looks at her parents.

"They did not tell me sweetheart. Neither did Noah." Dad says softly.

"But how do you know?" I ask him.

"You might be the true king, my son. But I am the Alpha and king of this land, this pack. I felt it when she manipulated the the earth one night. I knew it wasn't you. I know your power. But this was still slightly connected to you, so I knew it had to be her." Dad says.

"Sorry," Madeleine says, but Dad smiles and shakes his head.

"Don't be, and we know having special powers can be beautiful but also scary and hard. No one here will tell anyone. It is up to you and Noah. And you have this family's support." Dad says.

"Thank you," Madeleine says, and Dad smiles.

"Okay, enough of all this. We have to celebrate not only the matebond between Noah and Madeleine. But also that Juliette woke up and that She and Gina both found their second chance for happiness." Mom says, and we all eat and celebrate in the other room.
