Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1723

Unexpectedly, Trevor recalled Victoria's ruthless letter to himself along with their memories that contradicted her words. If it wasn't for the fact that she up and left him, he would never have believed her letter.

Her acting was incredible for her to have gone this far. She should receive an Oscar award!

D*mn it!

Unconsciously, Trevor tightened his grip on the wine glass.

As for the grudge between him and Victoria, even Frederick did not know the inside story. What they saw was only the surface. Victoria left and came back but his mind could not be read by anyone else. After all, love was selfish and something that could only be understood between the two people involved.

When it came to personal affairs, they all remained silent and did not ask about it. A few words were enough for them to reach a tacit understanding.

Moments later, Wyatt's cell phone rang and he went out. As soon as picked up the call, his facial expression changed drastically. "Lost? What do you mean lost?"

"Sorry, Mr. Johnson. Today Miss Castle went out as usual and also practiced yoga in the forest. She went to a small farm to rest and then escaped through the side door. We've yet to find her. The master at the temple told us she had checked out last night... She never mentioned where she was going either."

Obviously, this was premeditated. Could it be that they had been discovered? Wyatt's man shrunk his neck. He did not dare to mention his thoughts to Wyatt.

Fury raged as Wyatt found himself unable to contain his anger. "What are you guys doing? I said to keep a distance, not lose her completely! Useless bums! Check the nearby surveillance cameras..."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Wyatt suddenly realized something. In such a remote and underdeveloped area, looking for a surveillance camera would take forever.

After a pause, he added, "Go to the bus stations and airport to see if you can find her!"

After saying this, Wyatt hung up the phone with a loud bang. He was not in a good mood.

Ever since he found out that she was at the temple, he had been to see her in secret several times. Although it was always from afar with binoculars, it still comforted him greatly. In fact, he had already booked a flight ticket to fly over the day after tomorrow.

Vaguely, Wyatt realized that she must have sensed something. Otherwise, why would she suddenly leave?

His heart felt empty and at a loss. When he returned to the private room, he found it hard to sit still, so he chose to leave. The earlier he started his search, the more hope there was to find her.

As soon as Wyatt and Carson left, Nicholas' phone rang. The rest of them were starting to get bored sitting there too. After drinking a few more cups, they all left. In the end, Frederick was left to pay the bill. Trevor stood there and waited for him for a while. As he was about to leave, Frederick grabbed his sleeve.

"Where are you headed?"

"Home!"

He answered that question out of habit, which made Trevor suddenly feel upset. "It's only nine o'clock, why am I so anxious to go home?"

"Going home so you can listen to criticism?"

If he went to pick up his wife, would she even be waiting for him to send her home?

As soon as Frederick finished his words, his eyebrows unconsciously twisted. "What do you mean?"

Although it was only for a moment, Frederick still caught his expression.

"Don't you know that Victoria and Alicia are going to Kylie's launching event? Isn't that an important event for the collaboration of the entertainment circle and luxury items?"

In his mind, the bigger the event, the more benefits to being sowed. After all, these were all highly sought-after resources in the entertainment field. It was understandable if he did not attend, but it was unacceptable for him to not even know about it.

"Trevor, you haven't contacted Victoria yet after coming back from your business trip, have you? Are you two going through something?"

"No! Holger is on a business trip and I have been swamped since I returned. Thus, I knew nothing about this."

"Mhm."

Frederick nodded, but he still patted him on the shoulder and said, "Trevor, it's never an excuse to be busy! It's not been easy for your relationship to get this far. Don't be too harsh because there's no turning back."

How could he not know that?

However, hard work was not always returned. He didn't mind not getting anything in return, but he could not stand getting no response!

He was not that generous!

At this moment, Trevor's mood was stirred. He knew that Frederick must have noticed something. Sadly, he could not tell anyone about the pain and confusion he was going through. There was no way out for him.

Trevor twitched his numb lips for a while before smiling faintly. "I hear you. I know what I'm doing!"

He didn't know what would happen in the future. However, considering the current situation, he simply couldn't bring himself to be benevolent enough to let go. "Alright, let's go!"

With that, Frederick tailed his car and the two of them headed to Kylie's even at the hotel.

At this time, the magnificent

banquet hall was decorated very glamorously. Alicia and Victoria's entrance at the event aroused the

same reaction as any other famous celebrity. In fact, due to their status, many celebrities came over to ask them for a picture. Naturally, the collaborator was also very considerate toward them.

Although it was a party, they carried several brochures in their hands. Coupled

with the showcase done by the celebrities, the two of them were not just here to

socialize but also to pick out some items that caught their eye.

Since the line was inspired by the spirit fox, all the designs revolved around that idea. For example, the buckles on the bag were designed to be in the shape of a fox. The face on the watches was also fox-shaped. The exquisite craftsmanship and the addition of jewels and diamonds made the pieces extraordinarily gorgeous. Naturally, this also meant that they were priced very highly. As such, the guests that night were either celebrities or socialites. It was a very classy and lively event.

"These earrings are so cute. I love this one."

Victoria was attracted by the asymmetric fox-shaped earrings in the picture. The earrings were of different lengths, and the design was different from the charm of other jewels. The long side had a little fox tail-like fluff at the bottom. Due to the difference in length, it stood out whilst not looking cheap.

"If you like it, then buy it. You don't need to think too much. Let's go and check out the real display."

Wool was unlike jewels. If it wasn't of top quality, it would come off very cheap. Tugging on Victoria, Alicia led her toward the jewelry exhibition. It was a separate area guarded by security and surveillance cameras.

The earrings were very delicate. Victoria wanted to order it immediately. "Hello. I would like to get this. How shall I pay?"

While thinking about it, she had already taken out her mobile phone.

"I'm sorry, miss. There were only three sets of these earrings, and they are all sold

now! However, there are other asymmetrical sets available. Do you want to take a look?"

There were other similar styles, but they didn't have the wool fluff. It was either diamonds or pearls. Victoria felt like there was nothing special about them. Disappointment filled her heart.noveldrama

"That's fine. We'll take a look around!"

"Don't worry. We can go look for the head of Kylie Mitoni Asia Pacific, Mr. Ronald

later. It should be no problem for you to add an order."

If he wasn't going to give in to the wife of the biggest businessman in the entertainment industry, then Ronald's company could forget about mixing in with the entertainment circle.

"Yeah."

After turning back, Victoria scrolled through her phone and looked through carefully. She purposely opened her chat with Trevor. Her mood was tense. Throughout the night, she repeated this action several times. This time, it just so

happened that Alicia caught it clearly.

"What's going on?" she wondered.

"Has she been checking her phone all night out of fear that she might miss out on Trevor's call or text?"

"But why does she seem so tense and afraid?"

After checking her phone, Victoria put her phone back in her bag. She very obviously let out a sigh of relief. Seeing this, Alicia raised her eyebrow briefly, but said nothing.

After a trip to the bathroom, on her way back, Alicia got a call from Frederick saying he was on the way to pick her up.

As they were on the call, she raised her head and saw several tall figures appear by the entrance. It wasn't just Trevor and Frederick. There were also two men behind Trevor that seemed to be bodyguards. They seemed to be whispering something to him.

"Frederick!" shouted Alicia as she raised her hand.

She kept her phone and strode over toward them. "You guys came together?"

He nodded. As they spoke, Alicia took a confused look at Trevor. Frederick held her in his arm. Thinking that she was surprised by Trevor's bodyguards, he explained, "He is a pretty important figure in the entertainment circle. It's better to take more precautions!"

After all, all sorts of crazy things could happen with celebrities around. It just so happened that his company had two men available anyway.

"Well, since you came out, I won't head in then." Tapping Alicia's slender waist, Frederick continued, "It's getting late. Let's head home."

Nodding, Alicia did not object. "Yes, Victoria is still inside. I haven't told her yet!"

As soon as she picked up her phone to dial Victoria, Frederick stopped her. "Don't worry about that! Trevor is here. He'll send her home."

"Oh, Victoria should be in the dining area. It's near backstage. She has her eyes on this pair of earrings, but it's sold out. We went to talk to Mr. Ronald but we

were pushed away before we could finish the conversation. She's still there eating and waiting for him."

After telling him that, they parted ways. Turning around, Trevor straightened his suit before heading into the hall.

As soon as he entered and glanced around, he saw a dark and slender figure under the crystal-white light. A slim figure was standing gracefully under the dark green low light. She was graceful and reserved. Her aura was like that of the calming sea, striking into his heart.

But soon, he noticed something was off. Focusing his gaze, he realized that Victoria was not in the middle of

a conversation. Instead, she was being@rabbed by a hand. The man opposite her was a slightly chubby man dressed in a sharp suit. He

looked to be making friendly banter, but he had one hand gripped around

her. His other hand seemed to be holding tissue or a handkerchief of some sort.
