Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1715

Jackson gently opened her palm, revealing the crushed listening device embedded deeply in her skin, blood oozing from the wound. His heart ached at the sight. "You really didn't have to go this far," he sighed, carefully removing the shards from her hand. He tenderly wiped away the blood with a tissue, speaking softly, "Even if we go back to the States, they wouldn't dare to openly harm us."

Fiona remained silent, her head bowed, a hint of melancholy shadowing her delicate features. She was sending a clear message to the Woods and Stonnell families: she might not have returned to the Stonnell family, but that didn't mean anyone could mistreat her people.

Their return to the States would be fraught with challenges. Those families wouldn't easily welcome them back. Besides, the Woods and Stonnell families had already reached certain agreements, making their return anything but simple. "Alright, Jackson. Fiona has come all this way, and you're giving her a hard time. If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have escaped so easily. Even with your plans, we would have suffered more," Kimberly chided Jackson, dragging the representative from the Woods family's main branch towards the dungeon. People taken to the dungeon rarely came out alive.noveldrama

Meanwhile, Tyler was settling in smoothly at Center College, thanks to Jasmine's help. The college was filled with students from affluent and influential families, or those who had clawed their way in through sheer academic excellence. The people here were not to be underestimated.

Tyler stepped out of a limited edition red Ferrari, drawing curious and speculative glances from onlookers who recognized the car's value. "Hey man, is that your girlfriend?" a young man, looking every bit the part of a rich heir, threw an arm around Tyler's shoulder, teasing him. "Just a heads up, that girl is trouble. The Bryant family's little princesses are known for being fiery."

Tyler smiled brightly, unfazed. Fiona had assured him that Jasmine would be his ally in the States, and he trusted her judgment. Whether fiery or not was irrelevant to him.

"Tyler, this is for you. I'll come pick you up later Jasmine tossed a backpack to him and drove off, only to be stopped by another girl. The girl was dressed provocatively, her demeanor even more rebellious. She sneered, "You've got some nerve showing your face here!"

She kicked the Ferrari's front bumper, denting the license plate. "Move it or lose

it," Jasmine retorted, honking twice.

"How dare you come back? Why

didn't you stay gone?" "Well, if an old

hag like you is still around, how could I resist returning?" Jasmine replied stepping out of the car, her short skirt accentuating her curves, making her look even more stunning.

Seeing this, Tyler moved to intervene. It wasn't the right time for a confrontation, especially since Fiona hadn't arrived in the States yet, and he and Jasmine had a mission to complete.

"Man, you must be crazy to get involved in the Bryant family's business. Those two are a handful someone nearby warned. Ignoring the caution, Tyler walked towards the two women, his face stem. He offered no kindness to the Bryant girl causing trouble, instead focusing on calming Jasmine.

"Don't let her get to you. We have more important matters to handle. Go on, send

me your location, and I'll come find you later," he said, personally escorting Jasmine back to her car.
