Chapter 14 Eight Pack Abst 

Since it was getting late, everything had to be dealt with later.

On the spot, Sean was renamed Callahan Quirk by David, and he moved into the Quirk manor to live with Evian.

Upon arriving home, Callahan was dozing off. Regardless of the overwhelming emotions, he was just a growing child who could no longer fight off the fatigue.

Evian stayed close to her child, unwilling to leave him even for a moment.

David and Selena also came to check on their grandchild, their faces full of affection.

In the end, Alexander also came.

"Where is Bella?" asked Selena.

Alexander said, "She has gone back to her room to rest.

The Quirk family immediately gathered, all except for Callahan, who was fast asleep.

"What on earth is going on? Can we truly hear Bella's innermost thoughts?" David questioned.

Alexander then talked about the day's happenings at the company.

"Right now, only a few of us can hear it."

"We can't hear her now, right? Selena asked in confusion.

"It's a matter of distance, just like when ordinary people talk; you can't hear if you're too far away," Alexander said.

"I owe it to her this time. She saved me and Cal. How did she know all that information?" Evian was still in a daze, as everything had happened so fast and was so unreal, as if it was all a cream.

If it hadn't been for Isabella revealing the truth, she and Callahan might have gone their entire lives without recognizing each other. The mere thought of it was extremely frightening.

"I believe she must have gained this superpower to know everything recently. The fact that we can hear her thoughts must be an accident. I suggest we maintain the status quo for now. Once Chris and Rosie return, we can see if they can hear her as well."

The bizarre development left everyone clueless. The only option was to not do anything for the time being.

"I feel like Bella has changed, Evian remarked with a hint of nostalgia.

When she got married, Isabella had just been brought back to the Quirk family, so they didn't spend much time together. She only saw Isabella as somewhat reclusive. After her marriage, she constantly heard her mother complaining that Alexander and Isabella had become an unhappy couple.

Remembering the events of the day, Selena chuckled and said, "Bella often says one thing but means another. She's actually quite warm-hearted. You should be more understanding toward her in the future."

Evian also expressed her concern. "Since you agreed to marry her, don't let her live the same way I did."

They were hopeful that Alexander would see the light and recognize the goodness in Isabella so that their marital relationship could improve. If that proved impossible, they wished for the couple to part on good terms, rather than separating in resentment.

One should know that until then, they had never shared a room.

Without giving it much thought, Alexander was reminded of Isabella's money-mindedness. "Il transfer some money to her." The other three were rendered speechless.
