My Lord, My Billionaire Master

Chapter 911

William felt hurt by Alice's words. He pointed at her in sheer exasperation, "Yeah, I didn't fold these paper cranes in person, but last night I...."

Obviously, William hadn't finished his words, but he stopped.

"You what?"

Alice sat on the bed and looked at him, curious.

"Nothing!"

William gritted his teeth. He didn't want Alice to be guilty, so he could only bite the rest of the words back. Then he walked to get his clothes with his sore legs.

"William, what's wrong with your legs?"

Alice asked strangely.

"Leave me alone!"

William was too depressed.

What was going on?

Alice didn't know why William suddenly behaved like this, but she decided not to irritate him. She stood up and reached out to touch one of the paper cranes. Suspended from the ceiling, the paper crane swung gently with its wings glinted in the sunshine.

Just like stars twinkling in the sky.

Alice's lips couldn't help curling into a beam. It was really beautiful and ... really sweet.

He had burnt the sweet wrapper that Patrick sent to her before, so now he returned her new one. Such a lovely man.

When Alice found it hard for her to tear her eyes from the paper cranes, William was already standing beside the bed with a pile of books. The sound created by William made Alice turn around.

His face still sour, William threw the books onto the bed one by one, "These comics have the autographs of the top ten Japanese cartoonist. These ten are Italian top cartoonists. Their autographs are all here as long as they are alive!" Alice was stunned.

The big bed was filled with countless comic books soon. Alice picked up one to open it. It was one of her favorite cartoonists.

And all these books had autographs.

"How did you manage it?" Alice looked at William with surprise, "You aren't asking your bodyguards to copy those autographs, are you?"

Otherwise, how could he do it in such a short time?

"Alice!" William didn't expect Alice's reaction. He replied with sheer exasperation, "What are you thinking? Just some autographs. Me, William Cullen, do I need to fake them? Only Patrick might do that thing!"

She dared to doubt him!

Alice retreated a few steps back and hurried to calm him, "Fine, fine, I'm sorry. With our William's power, getting those autographs is just a small case. Forgive me."

Alice now understood that it was again the compensation for the gifts he burnt before.

William snorted.

He threw the rest of the books onto the bed and angrily turned to leave. But the way he walked was extremely weird, and he was even limping sometimes.

He was still fine yesterday. What happened to him?

"William, what happened to your legs?"

Alice asked worriedly, her eyebrows knitting tightly.

"None of your business!"

William exclaimed without turning his head.

Alice bit her lips and patted her mouth with her hand. It seemed that she had really angered William. Why did she think so much? Just being moved was enough!

Alice signed with regret.

She was too stupid.

When it was breakfast time, Alice had received eleven gifts from William in total. Each of them was better than that of Patrick. There were even some gifts that should have been out of print. Alice didn't know how William managed to get them.

Behind these gifts, there were her childhood and youth memories. William now found them back to her.

How William managed to do all that in such a short time? He might have started collecting them since he decided to burn Patrick's gifts.

Except being moved, Alice also realized that everything William did was planned. So he would not look for Patrick just out of jealousy too.

'No, stop, Alice, stop thinking about it.'

'Just cherish the present. That's all you can do now.'

Alice lowed her head to finish the last spoonful of porridge, swallowing down them together with all her upset. Then she turned to watch William, who was still annoyed and eating the porridge as if he would bite the end of the spoon off. "Still angry?"

Alice carefully poked his arm.

"None of your business!"

William scowled at her.

"Don't be angry. It's my fault. I apologize to you. OK?" He tried his best to collect gifts for her, but she queried him. It was truly her fault.

"I don't accept it!"

William snorted coldly and turned his face away. Then Alice noticed the dark circles under his eyes, which didn't exist yesterday.

"Did you sleep last night? Why does your face look so bad? " Alice worriedly asked, and extended her hand to touch his forehead. But William patted her hand away, "None of your business!"

William! Alice felt a headache.

Why was William still in a mood? She had apologized. What else did he want?

Alice guessed he might have a foot sprain.

She remembered she had a salve for that in her bag.

Thinking about that, Alice stood up and walked towards the stairs. William immediately glared at her in dissatisfaction, "You're really leaving me alone? Are you my wife? Is your heart a stone!"

So cold-blooded!

ice had to turn to explain, "I have some sprain salve in my bag upstairs. Let me take it for you."

Hearing that, William calmed down a lot, "That's more like it."

'Tm really worried about you."

Alice explained again with a resigned look. Then she turned around and walked upstairs. But just seconds later William stopped her again. He suddenly stood up as if he had thought of something, and chased after her with a limp, "That salve has musk in it!"

He had heard the doctor say so. The musk was harmful to the pregnant women!

"Just a bit musk. It won't hurt me."

Alice felt warmed. She did not expect him to remember this kind of detail.

"No!"

William rushed and caught up with Alice. Just as he reached out to grab her hand,

his waist suddenly sprained. William pressed his hands on his waist and gritted his teeth, "Ouch!"

William sprained his waist?

Alice gazed at him in astonishment.

When did William become so weak?

She extended her hand to touch his waist. William immediately cried aloud, "Don't

touch it!"

After that William began to walk upstairs. His way of walking was even weirder.

How could it be like this?

"William, did you sneak out last night?"

Alice was extremely puzzled.

William clenched his teeth and kept walking upstairs. If it was she who had been lying a night with half of the body dangling over the ground, she would behave worse than him!

When they were upstairs, William still didn't allow Alice to touch the salve, forcing her to stand far away.

Alice could only watch him as he rubbed the salve. When William placed the salve

to the side and stood up. Alice immediately asked nervously, "How is it? Are you

better now?"

"How can it be so fast?"

William frowned.

That was true. This kind of injury wouldn't heal immediately.

"Then, lie on the bed and don't move anymore. It's not good for you." Alice walked

to the side of the bed, and tidied up the comic books on it. After that she lifted the quilt, motioning him to lie down.

Under the sunlight, the paper cranes glinted beside the bed.

"No."

William stood there and refused to do so.

"Why?" Alice looked at him, "You can't move anymore. Just lie down for a day. I'll

be here with you, okay?"

"Then you'll be bored," William said, "Besides, I said I wanted to go with you to a

place today."

"It's not important. You are."

Alice persuaded him. He suddenly sprained his waist and legs, and looked so exhausted. It was not good to go out.

"No, I don't want to waste time."

William refused with an emphatic "No". Then reached out to put the salve back in

the bag.

The room suddenly turned quiet.

Only the paper cranes gently swayed in the wind.

When William turned his head around to find Alice's whole expression solid, he finally realized what he had said.

"What do you mean by that?" Alice quietly looked at him, "We stay together every day. We have a lot of time to go out another day. What is 'wasting time'?"

Or that was not true. They actually didn't have so much time to be together? William looked back into her eyes and chuckled, "Why are you so sensitive now? I mean, I don't want to waste time sleeping in bed."

"Is that so?" Alice smiled as if being relieved, and didn't discuss further, "I think

you should just go to sleep now. You are too tired. We can go out tomorrow,

okay?"

"Tomorrow?"

William looked at her.

Another tomorrow.

"Yeah, anyway, we still have much time, don't we?" Alice said with a smile, "Or are

you planning to come back tomorrow?"

If that was the case, then they did have no time to go out, but it didn't matter.

"I didn't mean that." William immediately replied, "Don't be so sensitive. I don't

want to go back at all. Fine, just sleep, and you will accompany me!"

He said she was sensitive again.

She had tried her best to persuade herself not to be sensitive, okay? It was his behaviors that made her suspicious of him.

William walked into the bathroom to wash his hands. He turned on the faucet, letting water gradually wash away the salve left on his hand. Then he raised his head to look at himself in the mirror, his lips pressing together tightly.

William, if you can't control your mouth, how can you reassure Alice?noveldrama

Damn it!

William punched his fist in the palm of his another hand. The water was splashed onto the mirror and slid down, slowly blurring William's face in the mirror. After a long while, William wiped his hands and walked out. Alice was sitting on

the chair by the bed and flipping through a comic book. She chuckled from time to

time when reading funny things.

William wanted Alice to keep her smile.

At least, keeping it till their baby was born.

Otherwise, it would be harmful to her and the baby.

But Lancaster would not give him so much time.

All he could do was to create as many happy memories as possible when he was

with her. Then even if danger came one day, or worse, if he couldn't be there for her anymore, Alice would still have these memories.
