Jamie asked, "Is everything okay at home?"

Mia nodded, "My son's birthday is coming up soon. I want to spend more time with him at home."

After hearing the report from his subordinate, Kon sat there, a bit uneasy. "Everyone says Andre is crazy about his wife and son. His son has six

bodyguards, and you can bet his wife isn't without protection either. There's got to be someone lurking in the shadows!"

His subordinate quickly agreed, "You're right, Mr. Kon."

"What about Annie?"

"We can't get anyone close to her. She's right in the middle of the police department," the subordinate replied.

Kon nodded, considering the situation.

"So, Mr. Kon, what's the plan? We've lost so many of our guys, and everyone is itching to take Andre and Conner down. Do we really just sit and wait?"

Kon checked his watch and nodded, "Yes, we wait."

"But why, Mr. Kon?" The subordinate was anxious. They'd suffered heavy losses at Andre's hands, and now, Mr. Kon had taken them out alone, without alerting the other Dark Web leaders. Yet, he was dragging this out.

Kon thought it over, "We're waiting for the perfect moment-when Andre is too spread out to handle things."

A sly grin crossed his face, "Conner's mother's anniversary is coming up. As the 'main culprit' behind her death, he's bound to return home then. That's when we make our move. It'll be worth it."

"Got it."

Kon watched the clock.

At home, Mia was also counting down the days. "Oh, babe, the exams are coming up, and I feel like I know nothing. What am I gonna do?"

She playfully flopped into her husband's arms, making Henry stop in his tracks with surprise.

Andre, holding his little one, smiled blissfully, "Should I start being your full-time study buddy tomorrow?"

Mia shook her head, her voice playful yet tearful, "No, I just wanted to be spoiled a bit."

Andre chuckled, kissing his wife's cheek and then her lips, before they headed to the bedroom...
