Chapter 269 Send Them Away
Allison flopped onto the couch, and a servant handed her a glass of juice. She took a
sip and turned to Yasmin. "Yasmin, I can't forgive what you did. So, it's best if we just stay out of each other's way. I suggest you stay in Zephyria and never come back, even for your kids' sake."
Yasmin's eyes widened, anxiety washing over her. "Are you saying the Walker family will still try to take my kids?"
Allison nodded. "Absolutely. If you get your act together, they'll do everything they can to make you marry Oliver and get their hands on their grandkids. If you're struggling, with no money or power, they'll just take your kids outright and leave you with nothing."
Yasmin clutched her dress, fear in her eyes. "So, you're suggesting I move away?"
Allison nodded. "I'll have Jonah handle the immigration paperwork. As a daughter of the Bennett family, you'll get a house and ten million dollars for living expenses, enough to raise your kids. Plus, every Bennett child has shares in the Bennett Group. Jasper has five percent, you have three percent. You'll be fine financially. But if the Walker family targets you, you're done for."
Yasmin shook her head vigorously. "No way, I'm not marrying Oliver. He's a psycho!"
Allison nodded. Just then, Blair came out of the kitchen. "Allison, come on, dinner's ready!"
At the dining table, Blair had prepared five dishes, all tasting pretty good. Allison ate slowly, while Blair felt incredibly happy, as it had been a long time since she had a meal with her two children.
Blair said, "Eat up, Allison. Here's your favorite steak!"
Allison didn't say anything, just ate quietly. Blair hesitated for a long time before speaking. "I went to see your dad. He's not doing well, Allison..."
"I can't help him. He's schizophrenic, not just sick. I'm not familiar with psychiatry! Besides, even if he gets better, he'll have to go to prison. You know that."
Blair knew, even though she hated Preston, he was still her husband. "We're all leaving. Please, just take care of him. I don't ask for much, just that he doesn't suffer too much."noveldrama
Allison didn't respond. She wouldn't agree. The harm Preston caused her was unforgivable. If she forgave him, what would all her past suffering mean?
"Jonah will arrange for someone to take care of him. Don't worry, Mrs. Bennett. Also, a word of advice: don't trust the Walker family's sweet talk, or you'll end up getting Yasmin killed." Allison's words made Blair's face change. She had indeed been in contact with the Walker family, thinking Yasmin needed a status and the kids needed a father. But the conversations hadn't been pleasant.
"The Walker family must have made demands, right? They want shares in the Bennett Group?" Allison didn't need Blair to say anything; she had already guessed. Seeing Blair's guilty nod, Allison's expression turned serious. "Mrs. Bennett, I'll say this once. If you don't stop trying to be the good guy, I won't involve myself in any of your or Yasmin's problems."
Blair sighed, "Allison, that's not what I meant. I just think it's too hard for Yasmin to raise the kids alone. If she had some help..."
Allison shot back, "Help with what? Yasmin has money, a house, and shares in the Bennett Group. No matter where she is or how bad things get, she won't starve. But if she gives away her shares, she'll have to ask Oliver for money. The Walker family will bleed her dry, leaving her with nothing."

Blair lowered her head, feeling embarrassed but also oddly comforted by Allison's scolding.
Thinking of Blair's temperament, Allison took out her phone and called Carl. "I need to borrow your private jet."
Carl smiled warmly. "What's mine is yours. The jet's at Skycrest Airport. Just call Ford." Allison said, "Thanks. To show my gratitude, I'll bring you lunch."
Carl laughed and nodded, then called Ford to arrange everything for the flight.
Allison sent Ford the flight plan, then turned to Blair and Yasmin. "Since I have time today, pack your things. We'll leave for the airport in an hour. Jonah will go with you and come back once you're settled."
Blair and Yasmin were a bit stunned. "Allison, isn't this too fast? I still want to..."
Allison explained, "If I remember correctly, Declan plans to kick Miles and his family out of Skycrest. Oliver won't have any inheritance rights in the Walker family. They used to look down on Yasmin, but now they'll come begging for her hand. You can choose: give your money to others or start a new life in Zephyria."
"I'm leaving. I'll pack now!" Yasmin hurried upstairs to pack with the servants' help. Blair was still hesitant, wanting to visit the Ember family, but there wasn't enough time. "Allison, do we really have to rush?"
Allison said, "If I don't make a quick decision for you, will you bring the Walker family here tomorrow to discuss Yasmin's marriage? Do you want to visit the Ember family and get entangled with Helena, even asking to take them to Zephyria? Mrs. Bennett, everyone must face the consequences of their actions. Haven't you paid enough?" Blair looked at Allison, tears welling up. She nodded slightly. "I understand. I'll go with Yasmin. But if you're alone in Skycrest, what if something happens?"
As they spoke, the doorbell rang. Jonah answered it, and soon Alexander walked in. Allison smiled when she saw him. "I have him. No one can bully me!"
Alexander was Allison's rock. He smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist. "Mrs. Bennett, you can rest assured. I'll protect Allison."
With Alexander there, Blair had nothing more to say. An hour later, Jonah took them to the airport. Coincidentally, just as they left, the Walker family arrived.
When they saw Allison at the door, Shirley stepped back in fear, as if seeing a ghost. "You... what are you doing here?"
Allison raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Why? Surprised to see me?"
This was the Bennett Manor. Allison had every right to be there. Shirley huffed and
said, "I'm not here for you. I'm here to see Blair. Where is she? We're here to discuss a marriage proposal!"
