The CEO’s little ones

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:.

Hayden Downey screamed and was rudely awakened from his sleep. He was sweating profusely. The sun was already high in the sky, but his back was covered in a cold sweat. He had dreamed about it again. He sighed and wiped the sweat from his face.

It was a night two months ago when she was in a bad mood because of an argument she had had with her boyfriend and wanted to seek out her best friend to release her anger. However, the moment she found her best friend, she realized that her friend was lying next to her boyfriend in the same bed. At the time, she had no idea how she had managed to run away and make it to a bar while staggering along the way.

There was a voluptuous atmosphere in the bar and she wanted to battle drinking with strangers just to vent her emotions. In the end, she was taken to a luxurious suite in a state of confusion. Then she saw a man as her consciousness faded. She could not make out what he looked like clearly, but could only sense that the man possessed a powerful aura.

She blushed and did not dare to think about it anymore. She looked at the time and realized that it was already half past ten.

Hayden quickly cleaned himself up, grabbed his satchel and set off for the lab.

Upon entering the lab, Hayden shed all the feelings he’d had earlier and immersed himself in his work.

“Hayden, I bought you lunch, come eat, anyway, you can continue your work later.” Her junior held up the lunch box she was holding and waved at her.

Hayden looked up and sketched a slight smile.noveldrama

She hadn’t had time for breakfast in the morning and was, in fact, hungry. The next moment, however, his expression changed and the faint smell of fish turned his stomach. He threw away the experiment he had not yet finished and ran to the bathroom, where he retched for quite a while.

“Hayden, judging by your appearance, could it be that you’re pregnant?”. Her subordinate quickly put down her things and went to her side in bewilderment as she gently patted her back and asked.

Her words had immediately struck Hayden and his face turned even paler. Pregnant… Could it be such good timing?

However, reality always contradicted what one thought. At the hospital, the doctor handed her a report of her checkup and deliberately pointed to the position the fetus was in. She said, “Miss Downey, congratulations, you are pregnant! The fetus is now about seventy days old and its condition is still considered stable.”

As he spoke, Hayden was so startled that he felt lightning strike him. She almost fell, but managed to keep her balance by leaning against the wall.

She had become pregnant. However, the child was not a surprise gift, but a humiliation for her. It had reminded her of the past she didn’t want to remember, she didn’t want to think about what happened that night or the betrayal of her best friend and her boyfriend every time she saw the child in the future.

She wandered down the hospital hallway for a long while and finally ran back into the office. “Doctor, I… I don’t want the child.”

“What?” The doctor’s smile froze immediately. She didn’t expect such a young and delicate girl to be so cruel and couldn’t help but say, “Miss, you already have the child, it’s a pity…”

“I… I don’t want the child!”. Hayden gripped the doctor’s arms even tighter and said in a pleading voice.

“As a doctor, I will respect my patient’s choice, but I still have to warn you not to regret the consequence of your decision.” The doctor told him with a slightly stern look. She wondered why young people today were so irresponsible.

“Doctor, I have thought it through. My decision to abort the child would not change.” Hayden looked into the doctor’s eyes firmly.
