Hailey shook her head. "No. Three years ago, he called me and asked me to meet him, but when I got there, he was nowhere to be found. After that, I never saw him again."

She let out a self-deprecating chuckle. "He was already married by then. I never saw Stella again, either. Maybe he took her somewhere else to settle down."

Celine's heart ached for Hailey. "Are you okay?"

Carly's heart sank. "I didn't expect Celine to actually bring her daughter to the Capitol. That child is Adam's flesh and blood. What if he finds out?"

Melody quickly reassured her. "Carly, Adam hasn't made a move. It looks like he still doesn't know."

Carly's expression turned grim. "The truth won't stay hidden forever. Sooner or later, he'll find out."
