The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2646

"Don't you think this is overdoing it?"noveldrama

Myra really could not understand why Frank came to help her.

She was hoping that Mystic Sky Guild would grow to appreciate her family, but this was still an overkill and unnecessary!

The Ghostly Six simply laughed. "The chief may lose to you when it comes to business, but he still wins in politics!

"Princely Sword School is a major faction and wouldn't leave any insult unanswered. If they were to send everyone they had, the six of us would never survive.

"Naturally, the chief could send other members of Mystic Sky Guild, but there would still be casualties. So don't you agree that Chief Frankton should do this personally just to be extra sure?"

Myra nodded in understanding. "I really didn't consider that. I'll make sure to properly thank Mr. Frankton once he arrives!"

Thirty minutes later, Frank arrived with Janice and Jada, with Janice hurrying to Myra. "Are you alright?"

"Don't worry." Myra smiled and nodded. "With their protection, not even the gods could hurt me."

Janice sighed in relief. "I was terrified when Mr. Frankton told me you were in trouble. Thank goodness it was just a false alarm, or it would've been really bad."

Myra rolled her eyes. "You have the cheek to declare that you want to become the head of family with that measly resolve? Here's a lesson-a ruler rules with authority, not kindness. You must not mourn me even if I get hurt!"

Janice nodded in silence, but who could really stay detached in a situation like this?

Meanwhile, Frank was speaking with the Ghostly Six. "You boys seem to know about Princely Sword School. Tell me more."

"They have a long history-rumor has it that they've stood for centuries. They are adept at air blade techniques and are more

powerful than the sects who net

bigwigs we'd beaten up recently. However, their enclave is far from Shagan, and it'd take considerable effort if they want to send everyone they have here, so there's nothing to worry about."

Frank nodded. "Jada, you're in charge."

While Jada nodded and left, Myra quickly asked, "Won't they come after my family instead, if getting into Shagan proved difficult?"

"It's unlikely." Frank shook his head. "They aren't business people, and killing their golden goose would completely cut off their source of income. And who would still partner with them after all that?

"The only realistic target for them is Mystic Sky Guild, so don't worry."

However, Myra remained concerned about her family and asked, "Is it alright if we

move here to Shagan?"

Frank smiled

That's no issue,

though I'm sure it'd take time for

your business to be moved. You probably won't make it in time. understand you're worried that Princely Sword School would massacre your family, so you with a solution that covers all

Whipping out his phone, he called Jouri. "Send me Tido Kon's location. He probably hasn't left Shagan, and I need him dead!"

Myra turned pale at those words—if Frank really went through with that, Mystic Sky Guild and Princely Sword School would be enemies!

"You'd better be sure about this," she said. "You have no reason to fight to the death against them!"

Frank chuckled. "Don't misunderstand, Ms. Zahn. There isn't any group in this world that Mystic Sky Guild has to wage an all-out war against. I'm plenty enough."

Myra could not argue against that, as Frank did have that power.

If she were in his place, however, she would have trouble finding the resolve.
