The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret

Chapter 447 Change?

People around were stunned as they wondered if a transaction could be handled like this?

The buyer was asking the seller to beg him to buy something? It felt bizarre.

Sawyer didn't say a word and reached for his waist. Nathaniel showed no fear. "Think carefully, Mr. Sawyer."

Sawyer's hand retreated from his waist as he looked at Nathaniel, his expression returning to its usual calmness.

He pursed his lips and bowed slightly towards Nathaniel. "Please, Mr. Morgan, buy our company's jewelry."

Nathaniel replied indifferently, "Kneel and beg!"

"Nathaniel!" Freya's brows furrowed. If Sawyer knelt, the brand would be forever tainted. What brand had ever knelt to beg a buyer to make a purchase?noveldrama

"What's wrong? Feeling sorry for him?" Nathaniel turned his face to look at Freya, unable to suppress his anger any longer.

Feeling sorry? Freya thought Nathaniel was being completely unreasonable.

She only felt that he had gone too far.

Recently, Nathaniel's gentle demeanor had given Freya a false sense of security. She thought he was no longer, the ruthless, feared Mr. Morgan of Saeville.

But this ruthlessness was his true nature. His gentleness was just a facade. Freya's interjection only made Nathaniel's expression grow colder.

Sawyer clenched his fists tightly at his sides, glaring at Nathaniel.

His phone chimed again with another video message, the sound like a death knell.

"Nathaniel, do you find this fun?" Sawyer gritted his teeth.

"Heh! Mr. Sawyer, you'd better make a decision quickly. Time waits for no one!"

Nathaniel said this while pulling Freya to sit beside him, draping his suit jacket over her shoulders and pressing her down firmly.

He pressed so hard that Freya's shoulder ached.

Sawyer didn't even look at his phone. He knew without looking that if he didn't make a decision soon, his mother would be doomed.

With a thud, he knelt in front of Nathaniel. "Please, Mr. Morgan, buy our company's jewelry!"

He nearly spat out each word.

Nathaniel smiled with satisfaction and gestured to Koen, who handed him a checkbook, wrote down a number, and placed it in front of the kneeling Sawyer.

Nathaniel bought almost all the jewelry and said slowly, "Package t up and send it to Saeville. Have Ms. Lovett place it in my wife's room."

He leaned down and lightly patted Sawyer's shoulder, laughing softly. "In this world, don't force what isn't yours. Begging won't help."

Sawyer stared at the cold floor, his own miserable reflection staring back at him, surrounded by murmurs of discussion.

Nathaniel had thoroughly humiliated Sawyer, stomping on his pride.

Nathaniel stood up and grabbed Freya's wrist, pulling her up from the sofa. Freya was filled with deep disappointment towards Nathaniel.

This man was a tyrant who couldn't change no matter what he went through.

Nathaniel was pricked by the disappointment in Freya's eyes. His grip on her wrist tightened as he sneered, "Mr. Sawyer is nothing special after all."

"Kneeling as soon as he's told. Is he even a man?"

Though his eyes were on the kneeling Sawyer, his words were clearly meant for Freya.

The drama ended, the farce concluded. It was a spectacular scene, likely to become the most legendary moment in jewelry exhibition history.

Nathaniel pulled Freya out of the banquet hall and into the car.

Koen got into the driver's seat, avoiding the rear-view mirror, feeling the icy coldness emanating from Nathaniel.

But the three of them couldn't sit in the car forever. Koen coughed lightly and cautiously asked, "Madam, Boss, where are we going now?"
