The Billionaire's Forbidden Longing

Chapter 303 Being Acknowledged by Alexander

When Helena spotted Allison, it was like she was staring down her worst enemy. Too bad the glass partition kept her from getting her hands on Allison.

Helena spat out, "Allison, you miserable woman! You'll never have a happy ending! This is all your fault!"

"Enough! Mom, you're the one who screwed up, not Allison. You and Dad took risks for money. If you had just settled down abroad, you wouldn't be in prison!" Cade's eyes were filled with tears, and Allison gently patted his head. "Let's go. You've seen her, now you can let it go. Go abroad, study hard, and take care of Hayden!"

Cade nodded, letting Allison lead him away. Instead of heading straight to the airport, Allison took him to Serenity Manor.

Allison said, "Let's grab something to eat."

Cade obediently followed Allison. Hunter, having heard Allison was coming, was already at the door to greet them. "Allison, Alexander's been waiting for you in the private room. I'll take you there."

Allison was curious to see Alexander there. As soon as she opened the door, she was wrapped in a hug.

"Allison, I missed you so much!" Sabrina was back, and she was all over Allison, making her smile. "You still remember me? You've been gone for almost a month, right?"

Sabrina laughed, pulling Allison to sit down and then waving at Cade. "Hey, Cade!" Cade, who had been quite nervous, was amused by Sabrina and sat down, though he was still a bit tense with Alexander next to him. "Alexander..."

"Dig in, it's all Allison's favorites," Alexander said.

Cade nodded, thrilled to be acknowledged by Alexander, and the food was amazing- dishes he had never tasted before.

Cade replied, "Thank you, Alexander!"

Allison looked up at Alexander and saw him smiling at her. "We had planned a vacation to the island. Are you still up for it?"

Alexander was worried Allison might not want to go because of her mood, but she nodded. "Of course, everything's arranged. We should go!"

Sabrina was overjoyed, almost blowing Allison a kiss, but Landon, who couldn't stand it, held her back. "Alright, let's eat. We still need to pack your bags after this." Sabrina said, "Okay, Landon!"

Everyone was happily in love, making Declan feel uncomfortable as the only single person there. Poor guy!

Hunter joined them after finishing up, and Declan teased him. "Why isn't Mia here?"

Hunter replied, "Final exams. I had food sent to her. Declan, are you worried about Mia?"

Declan sighed. Well, he was the only single one!

After dinner, Alexander and Allison took Cade to the airport. With all the luggage, they took a private jet.

"Take care of Hayden. As for your dad, it's best you don't get involved. His actions don't represent the Bennett family, understand?"

Cade nodded and hugged Allison before leaving. "Allison, I'll be back!"

Allison nodded, watching him board the plane, standing there for a long time after he left.noveldrama

Alexander came over and put his arm around her shoulders. "After our island vacation, we'll go see Hayden."Allison nodded. On the way back, she got a call from Blair. "Allison, Yasmin's not doing well."

Allison checked the time. Yasmin was about eight months pregnant. It was already a miracle she had made it this far.

Allison responded, "A C-section is her only option. I'll notify the hospital to get the best obstetrician. Whether they survive will be up to fate."

Blair cried over the phone, heartbroken. "Your dad's dead, and now Yasmin is like this. Allison, I can't take it anymore!"

Allison's voice was calm. "You can handle it. Even if the baby doesn't make it, Yasmin will still be alive. As long as she's alive, there's nothing to fear."

After hanging up, Allison contacted a local hospital. There was a doctor she knew there, and they arranged everything quickly. James, who was driving, was impressed by Allison's efficiency.

Alexander said, "Your mom didn't return to the country, probably because of Yasmin. But what about the two kids? Shirley seems to be setting Oliver up for another match, and they'll be married soon."

Allison replied, "When Yasmin left the Walker Manor, she had the Walker family sign a waiver of custody. If she's smart, she won't bring the kids back. Besides, Yasmin's ambitious. As a high school student, she can't do much now, so she'll likely pursue her studies abroad."

This way, Blair and Yasmin wouldn't return to the country anytime soon, which was a relief for Allison.

Alexander said, "But the Walker family is in chaos. Allegra probably won't stay at Miles' place for long."

Allison smirked. "I saw that coming. I told Henry that if the Walker family showed up to buy medicine, it'd be a million bucks per HeartGuard pill. But if Declan came by, it'd be free. I've been treating Allegra for four months, and they can't even cough up four million dollars. Just goes to show how little they really care."

Shirley had caused a lot of trouble over the medication costs, even going to Declan's house to demand he pay. Declan had thrown her out.

Declan gave Allegra twenty million dollars a year for her care since he started his company. Over the years, he had given Miles a lot of money. But for Shirley to come asking for a million-dollar medication fee was too much.

Shirley argued, "Allegra isn't just our responsibility. Why should we pay for her care and also cover such high medical costs? Declan, you're a jerk. You're unfilial!"

Declan retorted, "My parents will judge my filial piety, not you. Besides, who do you think has been supporting your lifestyle? It's not out of filial duty to you, but for Allegra. If you don't want to care for her, I can take over, but you won't get any more financial support. Deal?"

Of course, Shirley refused. Miles was there too, but he usually stayed out of it, letting Shirley cause trouble. Declan was used to their antics.

Shirley said, "Absolutely not! We're part of the Walker family too. Oliver is an heir. Why should you control the company and not share with us?"
