The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2711

"We'd even take menial jobs—you'd need people to wash your clothes and groom you first thing in the morning, don't you? Let us do it for you... I'm begging you!"

On one hand, the hag feared death.noveldrama

On the other hand, the hag wanted to reach Frank's level as well and therefore brazenly dropped to the ground, kowtowing endlessly in hope that Frank would be gracious.

Frank simply sighed. "People never realize their mistakes until death comes calling, huh? Just wondering-would you remember those words if the tables turn?"

The hag nodded repeatedly. "Yes, yes, of course! And you'd have to at least give us a chance, don't you?"

"And what about the ordinary folk whom you've hurt?"

The hag quickly said, "It's all too late for them. It's not like we lose anything anyway!'

"Really?" Frank asked in annoyance. "Funny, I could say the same about you!"

As the hag was left speechless, Frank said, "Alright, then tell me where are the people carrying out your jobs?"

The hag's eyes lit up—just when she thought there was no hope!

Frank surely meant that there was a chance for her, so there was no way she would let it slip!

The hag whipped out a phone and tapped on a document before handing it over to Frank respectfully.

Frank took it, skimmed through it, and slid the phone into his pocket.

The hag was left taken aback, but she did not dare to flip out as she asked softly and respectfully, "Well, what do we do now?"

"Kill yourselves, of course!" Frank replied nonchalantly.

Everyone else was left befuddled.

What?! They had already done everything he said, but he was still not sparing them?

"You're kidding!" the hag exclaimed. "We're your people now-how could you kill us?"

"You're the one who's kidding." Frank chuckled. I'm not noble, but I'm still plenty better than you are. I'm not about to take people like you under my name and tarnish my own reputation."

Even as realization struck the hag, she cried, "Y-You tricked me!"

"Tricked you?"

Frank appeared puzzled. "When have I ever done that? You simply didn't ask everything!"

At that moment, the hag understood the same thing Horace had realized just before he died.

The man before them was not a good man-not in the traditional sense of the term, at least, as he was much more cruel than the rest of them!

While everyone in the room was left stunned, the hag also knew that her cultivation that was far weaker than

Frank's meant she was not getting away.

But since they were dying anyway, who would not give it a try?

Hence, all of them suddenly sprang to their feet and started running without hesitation.

However, none of them reached the door.

Even the woman was hugging herself, curled up and shivering.

If she had known that she would upset someone like Frank, why. would she agree to help Horace? at was wrong in living an easy life as a trophy wife?

Either way, it was too late now.

"Do it yourself," Frank said, kicking a shard to her before striding off.
