Jeremy was known for his ruthless nature. With a flick of his hand, he sent an invisible force toward Mindy. She had no time to even scream before she collapsed in a pool of blood, her final sound unheard.

With a deep exhale, Jeremy finally relaxed, only to come face-to-face with Jared. "Jeremy, I believe I'm owed an explanation, don't you think?"

Jeremy narrowed his eyes at Jared. If this guy weren't the son of a high-ranking general in the city defense forces, he would have loved to give him a good slap.

"The object that Felix pulled out belongs to a respected member of the Larsson family. Madam Goddard once saved this elder's life, and as a gesture of gratitude, he gave her this item. As long as someone presents it, the entire Larsson clan is obligated to fulfill two tasks for them."

"It appears that Felix is truly Madam Goddard's disciple. Otherwise, how could he obtain such an item? Jared, I suggest you focus on your own affairs. The Larsson family no longer wishes to pursue any deals with your father. You may leave at this time."

Jared stood there, shocked and disbelieving. How could Delilah choose someone like Felix to be her disciple? It seemed unbelievable.

As they headed toward the clinic, Laura couldn't help but feel guilty about the situation. "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble."

Felix smiled. "You belong to me now. It's only natural for me to protect you. And this is just the start. Believe me, one day, you'll have the power to stand above the entire Larsson family and make them truly regret their actions."

Laura clenched and unclenched her fists before she nodded resolutely. She had no desire to return to that toxic family.

dare he bully my disciple? That's why our phone call was cut short. This brat must think his father can make all of this disappear."

As Delilah prepared to intervene, Felix interjected, "Madam Goddard, it's not worth getting worked up over such a petty individual. I'll handle him later. My concern is that his

father may be overly protective and willing to do anything for his son."
