Under the Heiress' Facade

Chapter 800

Chapter 800noveldrama

Bernard scoffed coldly.

Douglas read the name on the business card too. "Future Tech sure is doing their best to secure a deal with us."

Five years ago, Killian Corporation's new chip development project was stolen, causing a break in partnerships.

Seizing the chance, XS Corporation took over the market with their new exclusive chip. They then acquitted Killian Corporation and became the leading company in chip development in Agrecia.

Future Tech was a leading company in Eurania. They wanted to incorporate XS

Corporation's chip into their newly developed domestic robots to penetrate the Agrecian market. In other words, they were trying to seize their share in the Agrecian market.

XS Corporation had plans to sell robots too, so Bernard naturally didn't want his competitor to use his invention to steal his market share.

Although the negotiation fell through, Future Technology Corporation didn't give up. They kept sending their representatives to XS Corporation to secure a deal.

However, Bernard didn't expect this kind of approach from them this time around.

Unfortunately for them, Future Technology Corporation had chosen the worst possible approach. Ever since Felix erased Hera from Bernard's memory five years ago under her request, he had no interest in women.

On the other hand, Hera was in the technical director's office at Future Technology Corporation. She had just finished organizing the summary report for a project in which the development took up four years when her phone rang.

It was a call from her personal assistant, Tiffany Yarrow. Tiffany was mainly in charge of looking after Dylan and Dora.

"Hera, this is bad! Dyl and Dora were missing when I got back home. They left a note saying that they were returning to Jadonia. I called them, but their phones were turned off. They're already on the plane."

Hera's brows frowned together. "When did that happen?"

"Two hours ago. Dora insisted on having seafood pasta and wanted me to buy her a big lobster from the seafood market. By the time I got back, they were already gone. Their suitcases too.

"They left a note on the table. I called the airline company, and they confirmed that they had checked in as unaccompanied minors on a flight. It took off ten minutes ago," Tiffany recounted.

Hera quickly turned on her computer, entering strings of code. Soon, a map was displayed on the screen, showing two small red dots moving. According to the coordinates, the kids should be in the air right now.

This was a tracker Hera installed in their smartwatches. It was specially modified, so it

wouldn't be affected by any signal interference.

"Pack my things and book two tickets back to Jadonia. You're coming with me," Hera instructed.

"But can you take leave from work?" Tiffany asked concernedly.

"We've just wrapped up the project. I was planning to give myself a break anyways," Hera assured.

Besides, this trip back to Jadonia could be a chance to regain her memories too.

"Okay."

Hera ended the call, organized the reports, and applied for leave. When she was about to leave the office, someone opened the door.

A man and two women appeared.

The man wore a black suit and had short curly brown hair. His deep blue eyes were enchanting.

That was Vanta Whitlock, the president of Future Technology Corporation.

Following behind him was a woman with wavy hair and heavy makeup. Although it was already early winter, she was wearing a fitted dress with a deep V collar.
