Chapter 804

Bernard watched Hera's figure disappear into the distance and suddenly found her rather interesting. He rarely approached women, and it was his first time being rejected.

That made him feel uneasy. Many women wanted to sleep with him, yet Hera wasn't even interested in him.

Bernard wasn't sure whether it was his rebellious instinct. The more he stared at her back, the more he found her familiar. A strange feeling nagged at him as if he actually did know her.

"Mr. Killian, the car has arrived." Theo, who had finished the discussion, came over to remind him. He realized that Bernard seemed to be staring at something and followed his line of sight to see a woman's figure disappear at the arena entrance.

Theo was startled. Did a woman finally catch Bernard's attention?

Bernard came to his senses. "Let's go."

The competition had reached halftime. Gino knocked on Dylan's lounge door. He couldn't help but feel disturbed that Dylan's programming technique and style were similar to his. Gino had learned his programming skills from Hera. Thus, his style set him apart from the other contestants who picked up their programming skills from school.

Hera's remains hadn't been found ever since her accident five years ago. Moreover, Gino never taught his skills to anyone else. How could there be someone with the exact style as his?

The door to the lounge room opened from the inside. Dylan, dressed in a sporty black attire, stood at the doorway, asking, "How can I help you?"

"Dyl, this cake tastes good. I'm going to finish everything if you don't come over here right now."

Gino finally realized that Dora, who bore a strong resemblance to Dylan, was in the lounge room as well. She held the cake given by the event organizer while munching away happily. Dora's mouth was filled with cake, her cheeks puffing up like a chipmunk. Seeing how adorable she was, no one would be able to resist pinching her round and soft cheeks.

"If there's nothing else, I'm closing the door." Dylan prepared to close the door since Gino had not said a word.

"What does that have to do with you?" Dylan asked icily. He had once looked up information on Hera, but someone made her information inaccessible.

Hera was such a brilliant woman, yet all her information was blocked. Besides, she even lost her memory, making Dylan suspect that she probably used to engage in secretive work. Perhaps she used to be a secret agent. Thus, he refused to expose her identity.

Gino faltered, not expecting Dylan to be so tough to handle at his age.

"Who did you learn your skills from?" Dylan asked.

Gino let out a laugh in exasperation. Dylan refused to reveal who his mentor was, yet he wanted to know who Gino learned his skills from.

"Since you're not telling me, why should I tell you?"

His answer rendered Dylan speechless. Dylan wondered if Gino was out of his mind. "Who is this, Dyl?" Dora stepped forward with the cake in her hands and spotted Gino. She immediately recognized him as Contestant No. 8, who took first place with Dylan.

Gino was very good-looking, and his eyes resembled Hera's. But Gino's decent appearance meant nothing to Dora since he was about to take the championship away from Dylan.

The host mentioned earlier that Gino was the defending champion of the national competition. That meant that Dylan's chance of winning the championship was extremely slim.

The thought of the grand prize of 80 grand slipping through Dylan's fingers made Dora's eyes turn red. Tears began to stream down her face uncontrollably.
