"Bring the first aid kit here." Bernard turned around and ordered the startled server,who thought she misheard him. It was hard to believe that Bernard could be so kind-hearted. Even Giselle never expected Bernard to be so caring toward Dora. Giselle had remained by Bernard's side for five years, yet she couldn't even compare to Dora.

Whenever Giselle fell sick, she always hoped for Bernard to drop by and visit her. Instead, he merely sent Johnson over.

What made Dora so special?

Not long after, the server delivered the first aid kit to Bernard. He used the cotton swab dipped in hydrogen peroxide to help disinfect Dora's wound before putting a bandaid on it. Dora's heart raced as she watched Bernard up close. If she had a father, would he also bandage her wound whenever she got injured?

"Thank you, Mr. Handsome," Dora remarked before kissing Bernard on the cheek.

The servers nearby began to break out in a cold sweat on Dora's behalf. She was so brave to have kissed Bernard just because he helped bandage her wound.

Bernard was a germaphobe, so Dora would definitely be kicked out of the hotel for kissing him.

Giselle, who stood aside, watched the scene with clenched fists. She didn't even feel her fingernails digging into her palms.

On the other hand, Bernard realized that the feeling of being kissed wasn't too bad.

"I'm done. Don't let your wound come in contact with water." With that, he used a tissue to wipe the tears away from the corners of Dora's eyes.

The server wondered if she had imagined everything. Was he really the same aloof and decisive Bernard?

Dora hummed in response with a nod. She then thought of asking Hera over to meet Bernard. "Mom, quickly come over. Mr. Handsome is here!" she called out.

"Dora, are you alright?"

At that moment, Tiffany hurried over after a server notified her of the incident. The buffet restaurant here was huge, so she lost sight of Dora after looking away for a moment.

Since Dora seemed to be injured, Tiffany rushed over to check on her. Realizing that the wound on Dora's hand was already bandaged, Tiffany sighed in relief. "Does it hurt?"

Dora shook her head. "Mr. Handsome already helped me treat the wound, so it doesn't hurt anymore."

"Are you her mother? You should watch your child better. She ruined my dress!" Giselle said accusingly.

Tiffany noticed that Giselle's dress was anything but cheap, so she hurriedly apologized, "I apologize for her carelessness. If you change out of the dress now, I can help you send it for dry cleaning."

"My dress was custom-made by a top designer, so it's not for any dry cleaner shop to handle it. Whatever. Since you probably can't afford the dry cleaning fee, I won't trouble you any further. Watch over your kid in the future," Giselle intentionally said, trying to appear very friendly.

Tiffany was disgusted by Giselle's words, but she still replied politely, "I'm really sorry about what happened. No matter how much it is, we can still afford the dry cleaning fee. Why don't we exchange contacts, and you send me your account number? I'll transfer the money to you later."

Bernard cast a glance at Tiffany, who had decent-looking features. Although she wasn't very attractive, she looked fine.

Given her appearance, it was a miracle for her to have given birth to such adorable children. But regardless of her looks, Bernard was repulsed by the fact that she used Dora and Dylan to get close to him.

Did she have to resort to this tactic to get his phone number just because she failed to book an appointment with XS Corporation?

"Stop your scheming." With that, Bernard turned to leave.

"Uncle Bernard, wait for me." Giselle rushed to catch up with him.
